Vasuki naag Temple
First let me tell you who is vasuki naag. The snake that you see on the neck of lord Shiva is Vasuki naag . He is also the king of bhadarwah , that is why Bhadarwah is known a land of naag. ( Naag = Snake)
Veiw of Vasuki Naag Temple.
This temple is approximately 2000 years old . The idols were created by a single stone.( Pure Black ) . Actually among these two idols one is of Vasuki Naag. and other one is Jimut Vahan Ji ( He was the king of Bhadarwah during that time , he was was the one who saved life of Vasuki Naag by sacrificing his own body the lord Garuda . ) ( It's a long story I am not going deep into this . )
You can see in the picture that these Idols are little bit tilted with any support But from front they look straight . Even though Bhadarwah ( seismic zone 5 ) is prone to earthquake but still these Idols haven't affected from any earthquake quake even being tilted.
On the day of Makar Sankranti every year the idols of Shree Vasuki naag jee and Jeemootvahan Jee are being covered with clothing called as "bagge" which are opened on the eve of Baishaki.. Idols are closed for darshans and one can have only the darshan of feet of Shree Vasuki naag jee .
